Education
Dr. Ken Dillehay grew up on a small family farm in Carthage, TN. Following high school at Castle Heights Military Academy; Dr. Dillehay earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss).
After college he decided to pursue a career in dentistry and was accepted to the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where he studied for 4 years, earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Dillehay returned to his hometown of Carthage and practiced general dentistry, for a short time, before attending a residency program in the specialty of orthodontics at the University of Tennessee.
Upon completion of the residency program, Dr. Dillehay received a Masters of Science in Orthodontics. Through a mentor in dental school, he was connected with a job opportunity in Wichita, Kansas with Drs. John Rogers and Terry Duncan at 460 North Terrace.
Recognition
Dr. Dillehay is the orthodontic specialty examiner and consultant for the Kansas Dental Board and has received numerous awards, recognition, and accolades throughout his career.
He has received the prestigious “Dentist of the Year” award from both the Wichita District Dental Society and the Kansas Dental Association.
He was chosen as the Advocate the Year from the American Student Dental Association and was recently recognized with the “Service above Self” award from the East Wichita Rotary Club.
Dr. Dillehay is a trustee to the American Association of Orthodontics and will serve as president of the organization for the 2021-2022 year- a huge honor and accomplishment

Outside of the Office
Dr. Dillehay and his wife, Becky, have two sons wonderful sons, JK and Taylor. JK is his orthodontic partner, and whose' awesomeness you can read more about in his bio on this website. Taylor is a local criminal defense attorney with the McConnell Law Firm.
When not in the office or attending orthodontic meetings, Dr. Dillehay enjoys spending time with his three grandchildren, going to Table Rock Lake, or watching the Ole Miss Rebels play.
