Taking the First Steps
The first visit to a Wichita orthodontist is the most important one, but it can feel intimidating, especially for kids.
At Dillehay Orthodontics, you’ll have a completely pain-free experience as you adjust to the idea of treatment and get comfortable in our office.
We’ll start your free consultation by introducing you to our team, showing you around the office, and getting to know more about you.
Our treatment coordinator will take digital photos of your teeth to give us the full picture of what’s happening beneath the surface.
Next, you’ll meet one of our board-certified orthodontists, Dr. JK Dillehay or Dr. Ken Dillehay, and talk more about your diagnosis and goals for your smile.
Creating Your Custom Treatment Plan
Dr. Dillehay will make a plan just for you based on what you want to achieve through orthodontics. He'll look for any problems and talk to you about the best way to fix them.
You’ll get our full attention. We'll take the time to answer your questions and make sure you feel good about everything, from the appointment schedule to how much braces or Invisalign will cost.
Start Your Treatment the Same Day
Once we've answered your questions, we can begin treatment by taking your initial diagnostic scans and preparing for the day you get your braces on, about three weeks later.
We carefully prepare and plan to ensure your treatment is as efficient as possible, placing your braces in the optimal position for the best results. We value your time, and we know you want to make the most of your visit.
