What do you get when you pair an established dentist with decades of experience with a newer dentist eager to serve his patients with the best care modern orthodontics have to offer?

The unique strengths a father-son team like Drs. Ken and J.K. Dillehay bring to their practice!

Dr. Ken Dillehay has more than twenty years of experience in orthodontics, and although Dr. J.K. Dillehay is newer to the field, he fully embraces the new technology and techniques that allow both he and his father to combine the best results with the easiest patient experience possible.

Dr. Ken DillehayThe senior Dr. Dillehay grew up in Carthage, TN and graduated from the University of Mississippi after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology. He then moved to Memphis and enrolled in the dental school at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Although he practiced general dentistry in Carthage, TN for a short time, his interest in orthodontics continued unabated, and he decided to return to Memphis for specialty training.

Dr. Dillehay completed an orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee, receiving a Master of Science degree, and, upon graduation, moved to Wichita, where he eventually opened his own practice.

Dr. Dillehay is the orthodontic specialty examiner and a consultant for the Kansas Dental Board. He’s received numerous awards, recognitions, and accolades throughout his career, including the prestigious “Dentist of the Year” award from both the Wichita District Dental Society and the Kansas Dental Association.

He was also chosen as the Advocate of the Year from the American Student Dental Association and was recently recognized with the “Service above Self” award from the East Wichita Rotary Club.

Dr. Dillehay and his wife Becky have two sons, J.K. and Taylor. While J.K. completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee, Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ole Miss and is currently attending law school at Oklahoma City University.

In his free time, Dr. Dillehay enjoys spending time on Alveolar Ridge at Table Rock Lake with his Wichita neighbors and friends. In the fall, he enjoys trips to Ole Miss to watch the Rebels play and spend time with his college friends.
